Norm Decontamination & Facility Expansion

North Sea Operations, UK

Established a purpose-built NORM facility at Oldmeldrum to safely manage the detection, containment, removal, and disposal of naturally occurring radioactive materials from downhole and topside process equipment. The facility is managed by specialists in Radiation Protection who decontaminate equipment to natural background levels — deployable anywhere in the world. This capability was developed alongside a comprehensive Training & Competency Roadmap and alignment with the Water Jetting Association’s ‘Train the Trainer’ programme.
